Nicole J Davis is a Research Assistant at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education and has worked on a number of projects, including Making Futures, Schooling Memories, and SOCEY. She is also a PhD student in the School of Historical & Philosophical Studies (SHAPS) with her research centring on urban life in nineteenth-century Australia.
Her wider research interests and practice span history, the history of education, digital humanities, and the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) sector. She is a member of the Melbourne History Workshop in SHAPS, a group of urbanists who work on a variety of projects relating to the city of Melbourne, including the podcast My Marvellous Melbourne.
